MENOMONIE, Wis. — The Orthopedics and Podiatry departments at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie are moving.
Beginning Wednesday, July 27, 2016, the departments will see patients on the second floor of the Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Center, 2407 Stout Road in Menomonie. This building was formerly known as the Center for Prevention & Physical Rehabilitation. Previously, these departments were located in the main clinic building at 2321 Stout Road.
The community is invited to an open house celebration on Thursday, July 21, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m. Guided tours and refreshments will be provided.
The new space covers nearly 8,000 square feet and will support 11 exam rooms, three cast rooms and radiology services. The cost of the project was $2.2 million.
Other departments in this building include Rehabilitation Services on the first floor and Occupational Medicine on the lower level.
“We are excited to be relocating the department to be closer to Rehabilitation Services,” says orthopedic surgeon Paul McNally, D.O. “Patients often are treated by an orthopedist and a physical therapist, so having the services in the same building is convenient for the patient and the care team.”
Other providers at the facility include orthopedic surgeons Andrew Lehman, M.D., and Aundrea Rainville, M.D.; podiatrist Jeffery Giesking, D.P.M.; and physician assistants Sara Rasmussen, Lisa McKenzie and Amy Nikolai.
Call 715-233-7777 to schedule an appointment in the Orthopedics or Podiatry departments.
