LAKE CITY, Minn. —Looking for a way to break up the long, winter months? Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City is offering a new round of wellness classes starting in March.
Marcia Walker, physical therapist and certified yoga instructor, will teach yoga on Tuesdays, from Mar. 8 through Apr. 26 from 5:15–6:30 p.m.
Kelly Rehder, physical therapist, will hold a Tighten & Tone class on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. The strength training session will start on Mar. 10 and run through May 5 (no class on Apr. 14).
Participants are encouraged to bring light to medium hand weights for the class, or if needed, a resistance band will be provided.
The cost for each eight-week class session is $45.
The classes will take place in the Pond House on the emergency room side of the Lake City campus. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited.
