Mayo Clinic Health System in Faribault welcomes occupational medicine services

FARIBAULT, Minn. — In early January, Mayo Clinic Health System will offer occupational medicine service at the Crossroads Professional Building in Faribault, located at the corner of Highway 3 and Lyndale Avenue.

Occupational medicine staff will partner with local businesses to bring immunizations and health screenings into the workplace. Health and wellness services will be offered to keep employees healthy and on the job. Services will include Department of Transportation physicals, respirator fit testing, asbestos exposure exams, work injury treatment and more.

“Several requests were made by community members and local employers to provide occupational medicine service locally,” says Brian Bunkers, M.D., CEO of Mayo Clinic Health System in Faribault and Owatonna. “Providing occupational medicine service in Faribault allows us to offer more care, closer to home for local patients.”

A highly-skilled nursing and rehabilitation team will be led by Cooper Rendon, Certified Physician Assistant. Rendon completed his Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies at Western Michigan University.
