FAIRMONT, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont’s Obstetrics (OB) Department was recently recognized for achieving top-ranked patient experience scores in its birthing and nursery unit. The department scored in the top 10 percent nationally for communication with doctors and communication with nurses based on Hospital Consumers Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) data. HCAHPS is a Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services Regulatory Survey.
