Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont will provide Ear, Nose & Throat services for patients beginning in December.
Susan Pearson, M.D., Mayo Clinic Health System otolaryngologist, and Suzanne Beitzel, Mayo Clinic Health System certified nurse practitioner, will see patients at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont every other week beginning December 8.
Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists are providers who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, disorders and surgery of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck.
Dr. Pearson received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where she also completed her residency. She did a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at George Washington University and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She has a special interest in treating pediatric patients, cochlear implants and airway abnormalities. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Beitzel received her master’s degree in nursing from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. She specializes in providing care for ear, nose and throat patients. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center – Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
“Sue and I are both very excited to be providing quality ear, nose and throat care for patients at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont beginning next month,” says Dr. Pearson. “It’s wonderful to provide this type of service close to home for our patients in the Fairmont area because there is definitely a need.”
