Nurse practitioner joins Internal Medicine in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Nurse practitioner Rachel Klitzke Johnson has joined Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, where she will see patients at 1400 Bellinger St.

Klitzke Johnson earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Previously at Mayo Clinic Health System, she worked as a nurse practitioner in Palliative Care and Home Health & Hospice, as a resource nurse in Nursing Support Services and as a registered nurse in Medical Telemetry/Intermediate Care. She also worked at Community Health Partnership in Eau Claire. 

Klitzke Johnson has special interests in chronic disease management, preventive health care, geriatrics and palliative care.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, camping and reading, as well as playing and watching sports.
