Nurse practitioner Hope St. Jean joins Family Medicine in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Nurse practitioner Hope St. Jean recently joined Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System, 733 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire.

St. Jean earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and her master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Family Medicine in Eau Claire, St. Jean worked as a nurse practitioner at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in the departments of Primary Care and Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified by the American Heart Association in basic life support.

“The words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe drive my philosophy of caring for patients — ‘Correction does much, but encouragement does more,’” says St. Jean.

In her free time, St. Jean enjoys camping, gardening, reading, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren.
