EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Nurse practitioner Lindsey Wayne recently joined the Cardiology Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Wayne earned her master’s degree in nursing from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Previously, she served as a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in the Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care and Perianesthesia Care units. She began her nursing career in the Critical Care Unit and Medical/Surgical Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Wayne is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and basic life support.
“I’m excited to be back in the Eau Claire area, and look forward to meeting and serving the people of the Chippewa Valley and surrounding communities,” says Wayne.
