EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — John Jacobson, M.D., recently joined the Emergency Medicine Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Dr. Jacobson received his bachelor’s degree in general science at the University of Oregon in Eugene. He earned his medical degree and completed residencies in emergency medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.
He is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Medicine. He is trained as a course director and provider of advanced cardiac life support.
His professional interests include the clinical practice of emergency medicine. Dr. Jacobson is the father of Lang Jacobson, M.D., Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

In his spare time, Dr. Jacobson enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his grandchildren.
