CHIPPEWA FALLS Wis. — Pediatrician Kahlie Hauser, M.D., has joined the Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine Department at Mayo Clinic Health System – Chippewa Valley in Chippewa Falls. She also will provide inpatient pediatric hospital care at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Dr. Hauser received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing. She completed her pediatric medicine residency at Helen DeVoss Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Hauser is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Her professional interests include working with patients and families on obesity prevention, healthy weight, exercise and nutrition counseling. She also enjoys educating families on routine newborn care, well-being, breast-feeding, and providing education to parents about what to expect or anticipate over the next few months or years with their child.
“I am very excited to be joining the Mayo team and getting started in the Chippewa Valley and Eau Claire area,” says Dr. Hauser. “I am looking forward to building and developing strong relationships with my patients and their families.”
In her free time, Dr. Hauser enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, camping, traveling, movies and cooking.
