CANNON FALLS, Minn. — Giving onto others is a focal point during the holiday season. For the fifth year in a row, Mayo Clinic Health System department leaders and primary care providers exchanged gifts with each other – and all of those gifts were in turn donated to Toys for Tots.
Employees had the opportunity to select a co-worker’s name and find a gift that is reminiscent of that person or pertains to his or her role at Mayo Clinic Health System. Knowing the gift would be donated to Toys for Tots, employees presented one another with gifts such as action heroes, musical toys, crafts and artistic items, board games and more.
Dozens of items were exchanged and numerous other toy donations were given by staff and patients during the Toys for Tots drive.
