Albert Lea, Minn. -- A free program, “Exercise and diabetes: An important couple,” is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 26 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, Health Reach campus, 1705 S.E. Broadway.
Exercise plays an important part in maintaining optimal blood sugar levels for diabetics. Kara Sweere, R.N., exercise physiologist at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, will discuss the importance of exercise and its impact on diabetes. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. Join us for an educational evening of fun and activity to help you get moving.
