Albert Lea, Minn. — A free program, “Drug trends: A tale of drugs, a web of deceit,” will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 9 at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, 147 N. Broadway, Albert Lea. Lunch will be provided.
Presented by Michael McGinnis, LADC, this program will identify the latest trends growing among youth, including designer drugs, cocaine, heroin, prescription drugs, marijuana and others. McGinnis will discuss ways to recognize the symptoms of intoxication with these chemicals and help identify strategies for responding to issues surrounding chemical use.
